Bear Dance Party Friday

Apparently nothing happens in Cincinnati on Fridays because this local news station has to fill their broadcasts with "Dance Party Friday". The sad thing, this is apparently an ongoing thing for them. At least they have a couple famous bears up there dancing with them.

Don't box the bears

The bear didn't do it!!

In an earlier post this week, I mentioned an article where two hunters were going after a wounded bear. It turned out to be a grizzly and when the two hunters cam upon it, it attacked. The older hunter stepped up to confront the bear, protecting the life of the younger one.

Well a new article today (click here) revealed that older gentleman actually died from a single gunshot wound to the chest. The younger hunter accidentally shot the guy while trying to hit the bear that was attacking the guy.

So, the lesson we learn today is don't go hunting bears because you might not kill it off the back, it will attack, and in an effort to save your friend, you accidentally shoot them in the chest.

Puppets are bears too

In case you haven't heard, there is a new Muppets movie coming out. Being a child of the 80's, I'm super excited. I've already informed my husband we will be going to see it. And we can't forget that bears are fully represented in the land of Muppets, with both Fozzie Bear and Bobo the Bear. You can watch the movie trailer below and get super excited.

Today is Drrr's birthday, one of my co-workers who insisted I create this fabulous blog. Therefore, it is only appropriate he get a birthday bear on here today. Look, the bear even brought cake!!

Not sure what these bears are drinking.....

but it helps them bounce here, there, and everywhere. I seriously don't know what adult thought up a cartoon about medieval bears drinking some sort of special "Gummiberry" juice and bouncing all around, but I thank them.
